趣味のアクリル画    Hobby of Acrylic Painting

　水彩画から始めた趣味の画に3年前からアクリル画材も使うようになりました。初めはアクリル絵の具がパレットで早く固まってしまって戸惑い、乾燥緩和剤のリターダーを混ぜたり、密封できるパンフレットを自作したりしてみましたが、アクリル画材に慣れるほどに、陶器の小皿に適当量だして、混色に使う色も決まってきて、白系は青や黒系よりも乾きにくいなども経験して、無駄が減りました。

　上の画は4月COVID-19の緊急事態宣言で外出自粛の時、近所の公園に出掛けて題材を求めて描いた画です。木蓮の花言葉の一つが、「忍耐」。窓から木蓮を眺めている心境を描きました。

  The pandemic named COVID-19 forced us to stay in our home. For relaxation, however, we often walked around a park nenerby.   In April, the bloom of magnolia in the park comforted us. I found that magnolia has many metaphoric meanings, and one of them is "patient". Then I tried to express my blocked feeling of mind by painting a magnolia in bloom seen from the window of an enclosed room.
