Portrait

　モデルさんに来てもらって人物画のレッスン。モデルさんの顔に似ているかも含めて、女性像の画は難題です。画を観る人それぞれに興味のポイントが違って、ある人は手の指、ある人は洋服、ある人は身体の寸法などなど。モデルさんが理想的な美人であることなぞ、まず無いのに、作者がたいがい批判の的になってしまう。華やかな彩りのワンピースに全体の色調が負けないよう、勝ちすぎないよう試行錯誤しました。                                                  

　It is always difficult to paint a lady's portrait. In addition to a good presentation of a model'appearance, people are interested in many parts, such as the shape of fingers, a dress, or the size of her body, ect. Viewars complain about my weak observation and my poor skill, regardless of the fact that the model is not perfect in beauty.  For the present portrait, since the dress is clearly colored, the colors of the other parts are selected  being not too dark, but also not too bright.
