画の微修正 Slight amendment to the previous piece.

早春の樹　 2020

　昨年描いた上の画の一部を描きなおした。どこ？どこでしょう。修正することで留まっている鳥がより注目される（講師のアドバイス）。

  Following the advice of my lecturer, I amended the previous piece (upper one) titled " Groves in early spring". After the amendment the presence of the bird is enhanced.  

絵画教室での試み A challenging trial on the lesson

　ある日のカルチャー絵画教室の課題："無表情の花瓶に工夫をして画を創作すること。"

全体の構図を決めて水彩でまず描いてみた。数日、花の雰囲気を考えながらいろいろ花瓶の絵柄を思案して、最近観たクレーの画集からの一枚を使うことにした。紙にアクリル絵の具で描いて、次の画が出来た。

One day, an interesting subject was given on the private drawing lesson: 

"Draw any image on the surface of the dry vase in which flowers are arranged. "

Firstly, I composed the picture, and drew it with the use of watercolor painting. After considering several designs for a few days, I decided to use one of the masterpieces of Paul Klee, which I looked in his portfolio recently. The following is the result. It is painted on paper with acrylic polymer emulsion colors. 

窓際 At the window

                                          赤いベレー帽の女性       A lady with a red beret.

　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　都会の景色　     A scene in the city.

窓ガラスを透した風景は、閉ざされた屋内の環境にはない自由がその先にあることを暗示する。コロナ禍での不自由とガラス越しに見える自由への願望。

 A scene out of the window  suggests the absence of freedom in the room. In these days tortured by COVID-19, we wish to act freely in the open-air .

哲学堂公園　四聖堂  Tethugakudo Park: The monumental house for four wise persons.

 ペイントソフトで透明度が変えられることが解って、重ね塗りを試しました。

I came to known that, in addition to select the brightness and chroma of colors, the transparancy can be also altered. I tried to lay up colors.

海邊の記憶　Memory of th beach

月の海  The sea beneath the moon

ベニア板の木目を生かして海を表現。「海邊の記憶」では、板の肌荒れが残ってしまいました。大荒れの海の記憶が静かな時の流れの中に在ります。「月の海」は板目をトレースして板紙に描き、対象を月と海に絞りました。

   The cross grain on the surface of a plywood is kept alive for drawing waves. "Memory of the beach" ;  Affairs that happened in the past storm  are memorized at a calm seaside. "The sea beneath the moon" ;  The quiet ocean by night with a crescent moon and a faint lighthouse.

背景は秋の星座のペガサスの四角形。

The square in the bacground suggests the Pegasus constellation.

馴染みの店　Familiar Cafe 

55年間開いていた喫茶店が店じまいになるとのことで、記念の画を描きました。

紙にペンとアクリル絵の具。

 A nerby familiar cafe, which has been continued for 55 years,  is going to be closed up this November.  I drew it in memory of its atmosphere. 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　

今、静かなる物　Now still life

いつか活き活きとなる。貝殻さえも。

Sometime they shine, even a seashell.
